The Brno Convention Bureau under the auspices of the Tourism Authority – South Moravia, based at Radnická 2, Brno, 602 00 (hereinafter referred to as the administrator), does not take the protection of your personal data lightly. We always process your personal data on the website www.brnoconvention.com and on the app website app.brnoconvention.com within the framework of valid and effective legislation governing the protection of personal data, especially Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Data we collect

Based on your consent, the administrator is authorized to process your data in accordance with valid and effective legislation.

Based on your consent to the processing of the data contained on our website, the administrator records such data, which allows him to process and evaluate the performance of the website. The administrator only uses the data internally and in accordance with the processing agreements between themselves (= the administrator) and individual processors (see Article 7 below). The data is transferred only to these processors and to no other entities.

Data is collected by the administrator for the purpose of:

  • website usage analysis, 
  • market research and subsequent website optimization,
  • editing the content of the page according to the needs of you – our dear visitors,
  • improving user satisfaction and simplifying operation.

The data that the administrator collects and processes are: IP address and type of web browser, cookies. We do not do profiling or automated decision making on the website.

IP addresses and web browser type

We process the IP address and type of web browser in order to display the website correctly by evaluating user data – for example, testing software and website changes. We further process the IP address to prevent and protect the servers of our headquarters from cyber attacks.

We store and process personal data for the above purpose for 3 years from the last access to the website.

IP addresses are collected by the Google Tag Manager program. It anonymizes them and passes them on to Google Analytics. It is possible to monitor the behavior of the website visitor, but it is not possible to track down a specific person!

Cookies

The website visitor agrees to the so-called storage of cookies on his computer (or other device). Cookies are small files that allow you to restore the previous user settings (language mutation, etc.) when you visit the website again. It is not possible to access other data on the subject’s computer through cookies.

The administrator uses cookies to better structure and adapt the content of the site to the needs of visitors, improve the navigation structure, which leads to better user comfort.

Every internet browser usually accepts all cookies for 30 days from the last visit. However, if you wish as a visitor, you can set your browser not to accept any cookies or to automatically delete them after the end of the Internet session in the browser settings.

Who are the processors?

The administrator is the administrator and processor of the data, the following processors also help with the processing:

a. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager software provider, Google Czech Republic, s.r.o., with registered office at Prague 5, Stroupežnického 17, 150 00, IČ 276 04 977.

b. Site webmaster: Martin Pištěk,  Nové sady 988/2, Brno – Staré Brno 60200.

c. Alternatively, other providers of processing software, services and applications, which, however, are not currently used by our headquarters.

We regularly update the processor section. The administrator has a processing contract with each processor and at the same time selects them in such a way that they guarantee the legal and safe use of data.

You as a date subject (and your rights)

The data subject gives his consent voluntarily and freely. You can withdraw your consent from the data controller at any time by emailing . The revocation is effective upon delivery to the administrator. The subject also has the right to:

a. Request information from the administrator about what personal data it processes and request clarification from the administrator regarding the processing of personal data (= right to information).

b. Request access to this data from the administrator and have it updated or corrected (= right of access).

c. Let the administrator correct or supplement your data (= right to correction).

d. Request deletion of personal data from the administrator (= right to deletion).

e. To revoke your consent at any time, or to restrict data processing (= right to restriction).

f. Have the data transferred (= right of portability).

g. Object (= right to object).

h. In case of doubt about compliance with obligations related to the processing of personal data, contact the administrator or the Office for Personal Data Protection.
