TOP 5 business brunch spots in Brno and South Moravia

6. November 2026

When a business meeting comes with specialty coffee, a proper breakfast and a pleasant setting, it can become more than just another appointment in the calendar. Here are five cafés, bistros and wine bars where you can eat well, talk business and easily continue with the rest of your programme.

What makes a great brunch spot? Gourmet South Moravia evaluates the quality and presentation of food and drinks, service and atmosphere. Following the recent announcement of the 2026 Gourmet South Moravia guide, we added one more criterion: how well does the venue work for a business meeting?

Our five picks, stretching from Brno to Břeclav, offer space for conversation, a welcoming setting for guests and menus that may tempt you to keep the meeting going a little longer.

1. Kavárna & Bistro Karma, Břeclav

Looking for a business brunch in a relaxed setting? Hidden inside an industrial courtyard in central Břeclav, Karma combines a Nordic-inspired interior filled with greenery and a garden dominated by an impressive olive tree.

Named the best bistro in the 2026 Gourmet South Moravia guide, Karma serves sweet and savoury breakfasts made with quality local ingredients, homemade desserts and specialty coffee roasted by a partner roastery. Its generous space makes it a good choice for a business breakfast, an informal meeting or a larger team gathering.

2. Knoll: na kávu & pohárek, Lednice

A business meeting that begins with specialty coffee and may end with a glass of Moravian wine. Located just a short walk from Lednice Castle, Knoll offers a romantic garden, generous breakfasts and light refreshments from small local producers.

Its intimate atmosphere suits an informal meeting with business partners, a smaller business brunch or a pleasant conclusion to a working programme in Lednice. And if the conversation carries on from coffee to wine, no one here will be surprised.

3. Pawlowitz – na kávu a oddych, Velké Pavlovice

The name itself suggests that this is a place to slow down for a while. Pawlowitz is set in a sensitively restored house more than a century old and serves hearty brunches, freshly roasted coffee, homemade desserts and wine by the glass in the evening.

The intimate café is complemented by a garden and a separate room in the barn for smaller groups. Accommodation is available on site, making Pawlowitz a convenient choice for the informal part of a multi-day corporate programme in South Moravia’s wine country.

4. The Roses, Kounicova, Brno

A good business meeting needs strong topics. And sometimes strong coffee. The Roses occupies the carefully restored premises of the former functionalist Kolba café, which dates back to 1938.

Breakfast is served on weekdays, followed by a dedicated brunch menu at weekends and specialty coffee from the café’s own roastery every day. The selection also includes desserts made on site and options for different dietary preferences. With its distinctive interior and location close to Brno city centre, The Roses is a stylish choice for meeting business partners or hosting a brunch for a smaller group.

5. Café Placzek, Brno

A business brunch with a touch of First Republic elegance in the heart of Brno. Spread across two floors, Café Placzek offers views of the Church of St John, all-day breakfasts, homemade pastries and desserts, as well as dishes inspired by Israeli cuisine.

Its calm atmosphere lends itself to a business breakfast, a meeting with partners or a less formal conversation over coffee. Guests wishing to stay overnight can also book accommodation at Bed & Breakfast Placzek, located directly above the café.

The right venue can give a business meeting a relaxed atmosphere and offer guests another reason to stay at the table a little longer. For larger groups, we recommend booking ahead and confirming the current capacity directly with the venue. After all, a good business conversation needs both the right topic and the right place around the table.
