In the Augustinian Abbey on Mendel Square you will find five halls, the largest of which can accommodate up to 100 people. The beautiful Gothic Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary with its Chapel of the Cross, which is ideal for concerts and various ceremonies, stands on the historic premises. Throughout the entire year you can also use the monastery’s courtyard, known as the Garden of Eden. When your main programme has ended, see the adjacent Mendel Museum or the famous Starobrno brewery.
