Event upgrades for 2026: what’s new in hotels, resorts and wineries across South Moravia

26. January 2026

Following our overview of new and renovated venues in Brno and South Moravia, we’re bringing you the next chapter—this time focused on updates from our partners. In 2026, you can look forward to modernisations, expanded services, and new concepts designed to enhance guest comfort, broaden options for corporate events, and provide even better facilities for meetings, incentive stays, and conference programmes.

OREA Hotels & Resorts: A strong regional player strengthening the MICE offer in Brno and the region

In 2026, the OREA Congress Hotel, located close to the Brno Exhibition Centre, is introducing a new service designed to take B2B client care to the next level: a dedicated B2B Concierge position. This new role will simplify event planning from the very first enquiry and ensure maximum comfort when coordinating all the details—from transfers and accompanying services to tailored teambuilding programmes. The B2B Concierge will handle specific requirements and help clients create a truly bespoke event experience.

The chain’s second Brno property is also keeping pace: OREA Resort Santon is planning a complete renovation of its conference facilities on the first floor. The upgrade will enhance service quality and guest comfort while also offering greater flexibility for meetings, workshops, and training sessions. It will also allow the hotel to maintain year-round conference operations, even during periods when the terrace overlooking the Brno Reservoir cannot be used. In addition, the hotel plans to separate family dining areas from business zones in order to create a calmer, more representative atmosphere for corporate clients. The renovation will be carried out in several phases between 2026 and 2027.

OREA Resort Panorama, located in the Moravian Karst, will undergo an extensive renovation of its accommodation facilities, selected public areas, and part of the spa. As a result, the resort will be closed for most of January. The key focus of the project is the modernisation of guest rooms, bringing greater comfort, improved functionality, and a more consistent design—especially for conference guests, corporate stays, and incentive groups.

Hotel news in Brno

Hotel International Brno is expanding its portfolio with Siesta Event Space – a venue built around the combination of stylish design, flexible layouts, and event facilities with real atmosphere. With a capacity of up to 170 guests, the space is made up of several distinctive zones that can be combined depending on the type of event – from representative corporate gatherings and networking evenings to celebrations and social occasions. The setup can include a bar for a welcome drink and afterparty, a restaurant, a separate lounge, or even a gentlemen’s club with armchairs and a chill-out area. In summer, guests can enjoy the terrace with a live OFYR grill, while in winter the outdoor Siesta Bistro brings a cosy festive Advent vibe.

Hotel AVANTI is introducing a new breakfast restaurant and has also announced plans to renovate its guest rooms next year, further enhancing comfort for both individual travellers and groups.

Hotel Grand Palace Brno is strengthening its position on the market thanks to its affiliation with the prestigious international network Small Luxury Hotels of the World, increasing the hotel’s appeal to more discerning clientele and international guests.

Hotels in the region: new capacity, renovations, and an enhanced offer for groups

Hotel Kurdějov is currently renovating one of its hotel buildings, which will increase accommodation capacity by 10 rooms (around 20 beds). At the same time, the ARONN Winery at Art Wine Hall is developing its range of experiential programmes, which can now be booked online. Pre-booked experiences include a guided tour of the vineyard and winery with a sommelier, followed by a tasting of ARONN sparkling wine produced using the traditional method. For corporate clients, an outdoor team game called Terra Hunt is also planned for spring in the surroundings of Kurdějov. The latest addition is the opening of a bistro, currently operating from Friday afternoon to Sunday. During their visit, guests can also enjoy the sports facilities in the hall, including badminton, table tennis, table football, and curling.

Wine Wellness Hotel Amande in Hustopeče continues its modernisation with a strong focus on sustainability. In 2025, the hotel completed the installation of photovoltaic panels, improving energy efficiency and increasing the share of renewable energy sources. Entering 2026, it has renovated its conference lounges and upgraded furniture in both the meeting spaces and guest rooms, further enhancing comfort for corporate clients and groups. The hotel has also introduced a new range of teambuilding programmes for corporate guests.

Hotel Ryzlink is strengthening its offer for corporate clients in several ways. It is introducing a new event manager position, expanding its standard tastings to include guided tours of the winery, and partnering with local agencies and leisure activity providers—from experiential programmes around Mikulov to bike rental services. As a result, the hotel can now create more comprehensive programmes for groups, combining meetings with an authentic South Moravian experience.

Over the past year, the hotel restaurant has undergone renovation and can now be used year-round thanks to underfloor heating and glazed panels (removable in summer) offering views of Svatý kopeček. In 2026, the hotel plans to further develop its experiential programme—such as themed gastro weekends, art workshops, an expanded garden with a new chill-out zone, and new tasting formats including “aroma tastings”, which can be a great addition to corporate events and networking activities. Guest comfort is also being enhanced through room upgrades and improved soundproofing in selected suites.

Chateau Valtice & Hotel Anton Florian

A key pillar of the MICE offer at the Château Hotel Anton Florian in Valtice is the newly renovated historic ELA Hall, which proved in 2025 to be a flexible venue with an ideal capacity for both corporate and social events. The hotel has also expanded its catering options with a self-service format, which has quickly become a highly practical and popular choice—especially for larger groups and corporate events. It allows for smoother service, greater flexibility, and an overall more comfortable flow of the programme.

In 2026, the hotel aims to focus even more on corporate days and family days through comprehensive packages that combine venue rental, catering, and accompanying activities. The goal is to offer partners a wider range of themed and experience-driven events, bringing together the representative château setting with professional event services.

Hotel Kaskáda is gradually upgrading its facilities while also working to position itself as a destination not only for golfers, but also for families and corporate clients. Recently, the hotel has refreshed its interiors, including new equipment in the wellness area and updated furniture in the conference facilities. A new addition is a fleet of e-bikes, available for guests to rent directly at reception—ideal for family trips as well as a great option for accompanying programmes. For companies, Kaskáda offers conferences and teambuilding events complemented by a beginner-friendly golf programme led by professional coaches, introducing golf in a fun and accessible way. At the end of 2026, the hotel is also planning a major renovation of its ground-floor areas, further increasing comfort and flexibility for a wide range of stays and events.

Wineries and wine estates: an experiential touch for corporate events

Chateau de Frontiere Winery is expanding its offer with new experiences as well as practical improvements to the estate. In 2026, it will become part of the summer festival series Hudba na vinicích for the very first time. The winery is also planning to modernise its popular camper parking area (stellplatz) and partially cover the pergola. The tasting room, with a capacity of 48 guests, is set to be further adapted for corporate and educational events. Among the upcoming public events, visitors are invited on 14 February to a traditional pig slaughter feast featuring a butcher who is the Czech champion in deboning and a Guinness World Record holder.

The group also includes Chateau Petit restaurant, which received the Gourmet award in 2025 for the best restaurant in South Moravia. In 2026, a small refurbishment will take place to increase the breakfast seating capacity. The group’s high ambitions are also reflected in restaurant ESSENS, which has earned prestigious recognition, including a Michelin star. Further updates are planned for 2026, and guests will be informed on an ongoing basis.

Experiences beyond the venue: inspiring programmes outside hotel conference spaces

Slavkov Chateau is one of the venues that can deliver a real “wow effect” for corporate groups through an inspiring accompanying programme set in a representative historical environment. In spring 2026, the renovation of the castle park is expected to be completed, making it suitable for concerts and social events. From 5 May, a new exhibition dedicated to the Battle of Austerlitz will open in the castle stables, featuring attractive elements such as Napoleon holograms as part of the visitor route. A new full-day incentive package is also being prepared, including the option to dress in historical costumes—with make-up, hairstyling, and a professional photo shoot—creating a truly original experience. In addition, the castle is developing themed city tours (e.g. Jewish history, film locations, and other new routes), which can serve as an interesting add-on to conferences and corporate stays in the region.

A big thank you to all our partners who shared their completed or upcoming updates with us. We’re looking forward to the new season together—and wishing everyone a successful year ahead!
