The aim of our ambassador program is to boost the number of professional conferences and congresses held in Brno. We also foster networking and collaboration across different sectors and institutions within Brno and South Moravia. By leveraging local resources and expertise, we are motivated by our passion for Brno and regional pride.

An ambassador is a proud Brno resident who uses their contacts and influence to attract conferences and congresses to Brno that promote collaboration and knowledge sharing. They are passionate about their field and not afraid to be proactive. They create inspiring academic content and are eager to offer events that highlight the experiences available in our beautiful South Moravia. They utilize technology (e.g., the Brno Convention Bureau event app) and the conference potential of South Moravia.

Brno and its surroundings offer a unique setting! It’s a relaxed, safe, yet dynamic city with a rich history and culture, and a wealth of conference spaces and leisure activities. We advise ambassadors on various venue options for their events (both traditional and unconventional) – from pavilions at the exhibition center to halls in vineyards. We also provide guidance on how to combine the academic part of the event with a supporting program that excites participants and leaves a lasting impression.

An ambassador represents our region and engages in scientific, program, or organizational committees for association congresses. This role is typically filled by scientists and academics, professional associations and chambers, conference organizers, as well as multinational companies and institutions. Brno is strong in several key sectors, including oncology, health and pharmaceutical products, microscopy, aerospace, software and IT, engineering equipment, and more.

As an ambassador, you broaden your professional network, connect with top experts across various fields, and gain valuable experience in preparing bids and organizing conferences. You also earn credits for your expertise. For younger professionals, the program offers the chance to engage with more experienced colleagues who can provide guidance, such as ideas for conference presentations. You can focus on the content of your event while we handle the organizational aspects.

We support ambassadors in organizing both domestic and international events. We focus on events with 500–800 attendees, but we are also happy to assist with larger ones.
