Between 1905 and 1907, Brno saw the construction of the New Provincial House, built for public administration. Since 2000, it has housed the South Moravian Regional Authority.
During the pandemic, as part of the renovation of the door frames, workers discovered the original thresholds from the building’s early days, still hidden beneath the current ones. Mrs. Hradová from FabLab preserved the beautiful oak wood, storing it until the right moment came.
That moment arrived with our request for small pins for our ambassadors. These wooden pins now carry a piece of history, brought back to life through care and attention. It’s a touching thought that when one of our esteemed ambassadors walks through the doors of the Regional Authority building on Žerotín Square, they might feel a small connection to the past.
